Description:
On September 8, 2014, ASIL's International Legal Theory Interest Group (ILTIG) will hold the Third Annual ASIL-ESIL-MPIL Workshop on International Legal Theory at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. This initiative reflects a collaboration with the European Society of International Law's Interest Group on International Legal Theory, and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public and International Law, Heidelberg. The theme of this year's workshop is "Authority in International Law: New and Traditional Forms and Approaches." Participants will include scholars from institutions in Asia, Europe, and North and South America.
