The Art of International Law: A Day-Long Symposium

Description:

On September 16, 2016, ASIL Academic Partner Case Western Reserve University School of Law will host “The Art of International Law,” a day-long conference with leading scholars and practitioners from around the world that will explore topics at the intersection of art and international law. This event, featuring a lunchtime discussion with William Griswald, president of the Cleveland Museum of Art, will examine today’s dynamic relationship between art and international law, while providing insight into prominent cross-border deals, laws and cases involving art repatriation and the international legal issues arising out of the destruction of cultural and religious relics. Those who cannot make it to Cleveland are invited to view the live webcast at law.case.edu/lectures.

ASIL is a co-sponsor of this event
