Trade (Law) in an Age of Trump and Brexit [1]

Date:
Wednesday, December 5, 2018 - 5:30pm to 7:00pm
Description:

This event will analyse the implications of Brexit and the Trump Administration on international trade law. Building on speakers' expertise, the panel will examine questions such as the future UK trade relationship with the EU and third states, the US-China 'trade wars' and the practical implications of both Brexit and Trump's Administration in the international trade regime and its structures. The discussion will shed some light on the challenges that the new trend of 'regulatory sovereignty' and 'unilateralism' in international affairs appears to have brought to the area of trade.
