Law of the Sea IG - Professional Happy Hour [1]
The American Society of International Law invites its members and the general public to join us in Washington, DC at our Tillar House headquarters for a Law of the Sea Happy Hour featuring Ambassador David Balton, a Senior Fellow with the Polar Institute at the Wilson Center and former Ambassador for Oceans and Fisheries at the U.S. Department of State. During the reception, he will share remarks on the negotiation and recent U.S. ratification of the Agreement to Prevent Unregulated High Seas Fisheries in the Central Arctic Ocean, which will be followed by a happy hour. We invite you to join us for a time to connect with colleagues, relax, and enjoy a discussion around the law of the sea.
Please feel free to pass this invitation along to colleagues from embassies, international organizations, or federal government agencies who might be interested in learning more about ASIL's work and research in international law.
