ASIL’s Dispute Resolution Interest Group together with Steptoe & Johnson LLP invites you to attend one round of the virtual oral argument workshop:

This summer, the DRIG-Steptoe Oral Argument Workshop provided an opportunity for junior lawyers to hone their advocacy skills through drafting of pleadings and delivering virtual oral arguments in an investor-state context. They practiced making submissions and received feedback from established lawyers.  They also had an opportunity to hone their virtual hearing skills.

We are delighted to invite you to attend one of the rounds of this Workshop, where participants will deliver their virtual oral arguments in connection with an application for provisional measures in a fictitious investor-state arbitration case.  The participants will share their experiences with virtual hearings.
