In honor of International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8th, please join the Promise Institute for Human Rights at UCLA School of Law for a talk with Dr. Dubravka Simonovic, United Nations Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women, as part of their high-level speaker series of Women, Gender and the Law. Dr. Simonovic will discuss the synergies between the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and the Council of Europe Istanbul Convention, and backsliding on the Istanbul Convention.

This event will take place at 9:00 am PST / 12:00 pm EST.
