The European Society of International Law will be holding its 16th Annual Conference in Stockholm on 9-11 September 2021, and places are filling fast.

The format of the conference will be hybrid. The main rule will be that panelists are present onsite at the conference venue, while other participants can follow onsite or online. We have generous ?downgrade? or and ?upgrade? options which allow participants to change their registration until 15 August.

The conference theme is ?Changes in international lawmaking: actors, processes, impact? and highlights include:
? 20 different panels. The programme is available here.
? Welcome address by Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.
? Keynote conversation with Martti Koskenniemi & Sarah Nouwen.
? Concluding discussion with Jonas Ebbesson, Francesco Francioni, Anne Orford, Makane Mbengue, Dire Tladi

Social events highlights include:
? Thursday 9 September: Reception at the Museum of Modern Art.
? Friday 10 September: Conference dinner at the Vasa Museum.
