Documenting War Crimes in Ukraine: A conversation with frontline advocates [1]

Date:
Thursday, March 31, 2022 - 9:00am to 10:30am
Description:

The Russian war against Ukraine has led to devastating destruction, displacement, and loss of life. Amid the chaos, human rights advocates have been methodically documenting violations of international law, including attacks targeting civilians and other war crimes. They are risking everything in an effort to gather and preserve evidence for future justice and to support urgent calls for additional coordinated responses to these attacks from the global community. These documentation efforts will also serve to preserve the history and memorialize the human toll of the invasion. Please join us to learn more about these efforts, and how we can support them, from a panel of Ukrainian and international experts in documenting and prosecuting war crimes.
