Emerging Issues in Investment Disputes in Central Asia [1]

Date:
Thursday, April 20, 2023 - 5:30pm to 9:30pm
Description:

The five Central Asian States ? Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan ? present a unique, yet often overlooked, case study to consider this proposition. The region is home to progressively developing domestic laws on foreign investment, an increasing number of international investment agreements, and its States have been involved in ISDS proceedings which have broadly impacted the ISDS field and related areas of law.

We hope you can join Dentons in our New York City office as we celebrate the launch of the book which has inspired this program, International Investment Law and Investor-State Disputes in Central Asia: Emerging Issues,?on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
