Trial Chamber of Special Tribunal for the Lebanon Sets Date for Resumption of Ayyash Trial (May 14, 2014) [1]

On May 14, 2014, the Trial Chamber of the Special Tribunal for the Lebanon (the Tribunal) issued an oral ruling setting June 18, 2014, as the date for the resumption of the trial in the Prosecutor v Ayyash et al. case [3]. The case was adjourned [4] on February 25, 2014, following joinder [5] of the Prosecutor v. Merhi case [6] to the Ayyash et al. case. According to the press release [7], any interlocutory appeal against the decision to resume must be filed within seven days.
