ASIL New York Chapter
| The ASIL New York Chapter is designed to enhance ASIL’s presence in the New York metropolitan area and its ability both to serve and engage the unique array of organizations and professionals in that area relevant to the promotion and practice of international law. These include the United Nations, the large concentration of law firms engaged in the practice of international law, the various law schools which are among the leaders in international law teaching and research, leaders in the private sector, non-profit and other non-governmental organizations engaged in the promotion and implementation of international law, and international arbitral institutions. The ASIL New York Chapter facilitates and encourages interaction within this community to develop programs and events and to assist in fundraising and other activities to promote the mission of the Society. The ASIL New York Chapter is part of a pilot program with the goal of fostering engagement with the Society in specific localities through the establishment of chapters, using the interest group framework as a model to be developed iteratively.
