2020 Human Rights Day: Contact Tracing and the Right to Privacy

Description:

Join the Law Library of Congress virtually for our annual Human Rights Day event, Contact Tracing and the Right of Privacy, on Thursday, December 10, starting at 3:00PM ET. For this program, Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota Law School Alan Rozenshtein, Chief Data Officer for NASA Ron Thompson, and Law Library of Congress Foreign Law Specialist Jenny Gesley will participate in a panel discussion on contact tracing and the right of privacy. The discussion will be moderated by Peter Roudik, Assistant Law Librarian of Congress for Legal Research. The Law Library of Congress annually commemorates Human Rights Day with a special program that promotes understanding and recognition of a critical social, economic, or cultural human rights issue.
