2025 Harvard International Law Conference

Description:

Please join the Harvard International Law Journal on Friday, March 28th in Austin Hall on the Harvard Law School Campus for our 2025 International Law Conference: The Peripheries of International Law. This year's conference focuses on themes typically not centered in international law conversations. We believe the event occurs at an important moment in international law, with increasing attention on international law beyond the traditional framing. This year's conference features four panels and one keynote address. Each discussion will cover key topics that do not, in our view, get enough attention in international law space. Panels will focus on (1) environmental justice in small-island developing states, (2) the role of law in cultural heritage protection and repatriation, (3) the future of the Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL) movement, and (4) the paradox of the rule of law. The conference will include a complimentary breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. Please register here: https://forms.gle/zi14DqwNYxzw6Uus9.
