The ASIL Government Attorneys Interest Group (GAIG) and New Professionals Interest Group (NPIG) invite ASIL members to attend a happy hour at Tillar House on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, for attorneys with the U.S. Government and other governments or international organizations to meet with law students and early career attorneys pursuing a career as a government lawyer in the field of international law. The event will provide law students and early career attorneys the opportunity to discuss different paths to government or international organization practice with experienced government attorneys in an informal setting and celebrate our return to Tillar House after nearly three years. Refreshments will be served. Please feel free to pass this invitation along to colleagues from federal government agencies, local embassies, international organizations, or to law students and young professionals who might be interested in learning more about both groups and ASIL’s work and research in international law.

Attendees will need to register in advance and attest to their vaccination status (fully vaccinated with booster(s), if eligible). Proof of vaccination and ID will be checked at the door. ASIL will follow local health regulations on masking requirements, but given current case numbers, masking is encouraged unless actively eating or drinking. No walk-ins will be permitted.
