Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and the American Society of International Law invite you to join us for the next installment of our Young Arbitrator Debate Series – co-sponsored by the ASIL Howard M. Holtzmann Research Center for the Study of International Arbitration and Conciliation. The debate will be held off-the-record and will be followed by a reception sponsored by Freshfields.
This is a hybrid event. Please select "in person" or "virtual" during registration.
“This house believes that investor-state dispute settlement supports, rather than impedes, the fight against climate change.”
- Cameron Russell, Senior Associate – Freshfields
- Cherine Foty, Associate – Covington
- Paula Henin, Associate – White & Case
In-person attendees will need to register in advance and attest to their vaccination status (fully vaccinated with booster, if eligible). Proof of vaccination and ID will be checked at the door. ASIL will follow local health regulations on masking requirements, but given current case numbers, masking is encouraged unless actively eating or drinking. No walk-ins will be permitted. If you are experiencing COVID symptoms, please do not attend in person events.
