The Global Legal Skills Conference is the leading international gathering for global skills education. The first GLS Conference was held at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. It was an intimate conference connecting legal writing and ESL professionals who had an interest in teaching law students, lawyers, and other legal professionals from around the world. GLS has since grown to include legal writing faculty, international and comparative law professors, clinical faculty, linguists, librarians, judges, attorneys, court translators, law students, and scholars interested in global legal skills education. With its 13th iteration in Australia, the conference will draw hundreds of professionals from around the world. We acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners of the lands upon which the Conference venue is situated.
