Join CILE and Pitt Law alum John Kropf (JD '84), Corporate Privacy Executive at Northrop Grumnan Corporation, for a virtual presentation on current global privacy law issues and privacy law as a career. John Kropf is the Corporate Privacy Executive for Northrop Grumman Corporation. Previously, Kropf worked as deputy chief counsel for privacy and information governance for Reed Elsevier (now RELX). Kropf also served 23 years in the federal government in legal and policy roles. His last position was the Deputy Chief Privacy officer for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a career member of the Senior Executive Service. He started his government service through the Department of Justice Honors Program as an attorney advisor. He later served as an attorney advisor for the Department of State as well as Country Director for USAID in Turkmenistan.
