Arbitration, the process by which parties to a dispute agree to empower a third person to make a binding decision, has a long history dating back to ancient civilizations. In this webinar, leading legal historians will explore early forms of dispute resolution in three iconic civilizations: Egypt, Greece, and Rome, shedding light on their implications for contemporary dispute resolution.
