On February 11, 2025, the ASIL International Criminal Law Interest Group will host an International Criminal Law Year in Review. As we begin the new year, leading scholars in the field will discuss and debate some of the most momentous international criminal law developments from the year that has passed. The event will feature Leila Sadat, the James Carr Professor of International Criminal Law at Washington University School of Law and former Special Adviser on Crimes Against Humanity to the ICC Prosecutor; Tom Dannenbaum, Associate Professor of International Law at the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy; and Valerie Oosterveld Research Chair in International Criminal Justice at Western University, Faculty of Law, and current Special Adviser on Crimes Against Humanity to the ICC Prosecutor.
