On June 24, 2015, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) released a manual titled “The Case Law of the European Regional Courts: the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Court of Human Rights.”  The report presents a “thematic guide to the case law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) that is of relevance to refugees, asylum-seekers and stateless persons.”  It also “summarizes and analyses the key case law on each issue covered, with the aim of providing a quick reference for legal practitioners who need to familiarize themselves with the relevant rulings of the CJEU on European Union (EU) law, and/or with the relevant rulings of the ECtHR on the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).”  This is the first edition of the manual and covers case law up to the end of 2013.
