Stand Tall for the Rule of Law - a Film

In partnership with the Ukrainian government, legal community, and civil society leaders, the American Society of International Law convened in Lviv, Ukraine, a meeting of 75 international law experts and 75 Ukrainian counterparts to 1) reaffirm commitment to fundamental principles of international law, 2) respond to the call of the Ukrainian legal community for partnership, and 3) reflect on the role of international law at this historic inflection point. The Summit was timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the Genocide Convention and the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, leveraging these international law milestones to inform public opinion and catalyze concrete action.
