Going Smokefree: Cigarette Bans in New Zealand and the United Kingdom

In New Zealand?s case, the ?world-first? legislation was subsequently repealed by a new government. In the United Kingdom, a bill that would impose a similar ban on cigarette sales to people born after a certain date was introduced in the Parliament in March 2024.
