The Rome Statute at 20: A Conversation with ICC Registrar Peter Lewis

The Society is pleased to welcome the Registrar of the International Criminal Court Peter Lewis to Tillar House to reflect on the 20-year history of the Rome Statute, discuss the current work of the Court, and address the future challenges facing the ICC.

Professor Diane Orentlicher, American University Washington College of Law, will interview the Registrar in the first half of the program, then audience members will have the chance to pose questions.

COVID-19 Protocols:

Attendees will need to register in advance and attest to their vaccination status (fully vaccinated with booster, if eligible). Proof of vaccination and ID will be checked at the door. ASIL will follow local health regulations on masking requirements, but given current case numbers, masking is encouraged unless actively eating or drinking. No walk-ins will be permitted. If you are experiencing COVID symptoms, please do not attend in person events.
